What drives us.
It started with a story we kept hearing. A friend of a friend loses their Instagram account overnight. They'd built it for years — a business, a following, a part of their identity. Then one morning: locked out, impersonated, gone.
They call Instagram. They submit forms. They wait. Weeks pass. Nothing. Meanwhile the person using their name is scamming their followers, destroying years of trust in days. By the time the account is recovered — if it ever is — the damage is done.
We looked at what existed. Identity protection services cover 40 things at once. Social media was one line item on a checklist. Nobody had built the escalation paths, the platform relationships, the recovery playbooks. Nobody was treating this like the real crisis it is for real people.
So we built it. Thuros — a company that does nothing except monitor your social media accounts and fight for you when something goes wrong.
